You will be picked up directly from your accommodation around 6:00 a.m. and make your way to Chichen-Itza, which is one of the “modern wonders of the world” with its impressive pyramids.
When you arrive at the ruins, you will first go on a historical journey through time with your guide, where you will learn interesting facts about the Mayan culture and their buildings, which have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. You'll then have enough time to take some great photos or grab one or two souvenirs before continuing on to Valladolid.
Lunch follows in a typical Mexican restaurant (here you can choose from a variety of dishes) before you have enough time to visit the historically important colonial city with its colorful houses and parks.
Finally, a highlight: A cool swim in the water of a beautiful cenote! A welcome refreshment during the hot midday hours. Surrounded by fascinating nature, you can end the day here with a cold drink before we take you safely back to your hotel.

We would be happy to pick you up directly from your hotel lobby and bring you back there. All larger hotels and resorts from Cancun to Playa del Carmen to Tulum can be taken into account directly.
For guests staying in hostels, holiday apartments or other accommodation, a conveniently located meeting point will be arranged. When booking a tour, please specify where exactly you will be staying. Here is a list of hotels that can safely be considered. Shortly after we receive your order, you will receive a reservation confirmation with all the information and the exact pickup time! Wir wurden morgens um 5.30 Uhr von unserem Hotel in Cancun abgeholt und fuhren mit einem Kleinbus zu einem Sammelpunkt in Playa del Carmen. Dort stiegen wir in einen Reisebus um. Wir wurden eine kleinere Reisegruppe und unser Reiseleiter war Edgar ( Eddi). Eddi hat uns auf dem Ausflug gute wichtige und sehr interessante Informationen geliefert und uns so das Land, die Besonderheiten und die Geschichte näher gebracht. Das in sehr gutem deutsch. In Chichén Itzá wurden wir 60 Minuten von ihm rum geführt und hatten im Anschluss selbst noch ausgiebig Zeit Fotos zu machen und uns eine Cenote und ein Observatorium anzuschauen. Es gibt dort viele Stände wo Maya ihre Waren anboten.
Im Anschluss an Chichén Itzá fuhren wir zu einer Cenote (unterirdisch gelegen, also riesige Höhle) Das Wasser war herrlich erfrischend, man kann hinein springen oder über Stufen, hinein gehen. Dort gab es erst Mittagessen vom Buffet, welches sehr vielseitig und lecker war.
Danach fuhren wir nach Valladolid. Dort gingen wir durch einen Park, besuchten die Kirche und konnten in Anschluß ein paar Souvenirs kaufen. Aufenthalt da ca. 1h.
Dann begaben wir uns auf den Rückweg zum Hotel. Wir fühlten uns sicher und können den Ausflug sehr empfehlen.
Ach, Eventuell wäre ein Snack und ein Drink für unterwegs, mit zu nehmen.

Unser Ausflug nach Chichen-Itza war super.
Von der Buchung bis zur Durchführung hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Unser Guide Collin war gut informiert und hat die Tour lustig gestaltet.
Auch der Besuch der Cenote war sehr interessant.
Kleiner Tipp: Probiert unbedingt das Eis in Valladolid. Es schmeckt extrem lecker.
Wir haben übers Internet gebucht, es hat alles super gepasst. Wir sind pünktlich von unseren Hotel abgeholt worden. Es hat ein Sammeltreff gegeben, wo wir in 2 Bussen aufgeteilt wurden, eine in Deutsch und Englisch, der andere in anderen Sprachen. Wir hatten eine sehr erfahrenen und sehr lustigen Reiseleiter, schöne Grüße an Markus! Auch Viktor und der Busfahrer Papaja war echt top! Die Maya- Pyramiden und die Cenoten waren echt der Hammer! Markus hat uns sehr viel über diese erzählen können, der Ausflug war wirklich sehr interessant.

Meine Freundin und ich haben den Ausflug bereits in Deutschland gebucht. Vorab möchte ich gerne mitteilen, dass wir kurzfristig krank geworden sind und den Ausflug deshalb ohne Probleme auf einen anderen Tag verschieben konnten. Die Unterstützung bei der Buchung war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Der Ausflug an sich war ausgesprochen interessant. Unser Guide Markus hat alle Fragen beantwortet. Der Tag war sehr gut organisiert. Wir würden hier immer wieder einen Ausflug buchen.
Wir wurde am 06.12.2024 am Morgen um 05:10 Uhr am Hotel abgeholt und zu einem Sammelpunkt gebracht. Unser Reiseleiter Markus hat uns in Empfang genommen und begrüßt. Mit dem Bus mit Toilette an Bord ging es entspannt zu den Zielen. Perfektes Deutsch und tolle Erklärungen waren die Strapazen der doch weiten Anreise wert.
